These resources are representations of my varied work experiences, professional abilities and educational interests.
Professional Goal: To be a leader in educational technology, preparing and supporting educators as they integrate technology into their learning and teaching.
Ideas that Reflect and Influence My Philosophy and Vision of Education:
"We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teacher’s hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time, and it is the lens through which we experience much of our world." David Warlick
"Together, we negotiate truth (Wikipedia)." Will Richardson
"It's for the Kids!" Fund Raising Theme at Highland Catholic School
"Resolve to edge in a little reading every day, if it is but a single sentence. If you gain fifteen minutes a day, it will make itself felt at the end of the year." Horace Mann
While not a quote, Bernie Dodge is a hero of mine for recognizing the importance of quality when teaching with technology and developing both the WebQuest and QuestGarden as methods to create that kind of quality instruction.
